Perfect auto feeder for feeding your pheasants. These treadle feeders are identical in size to the Appletons Bantam Step On Feeder except for the depth of the feeder box. The feeder box is shallow and this makes all the difference when feeding birds like pheasant. The pheasants do not need to reach all the way in so can peck at their feed easier making it a more suitable feeder for them. The huge advantage of using these feeders is the reduction in vermin. We had issues with rats, mice and sparrows in our pheasant flights and since the introduction of these feeders what a difference it has made. Here at Appletons we use these auto feeders to feed our Chinese Golden Pheasant and our Lady Amherst Pheasants. This unit holds app. 1kg of feed. TIP: For best results and ease of use we highly recommend fixing your feeder to a piece of plywood. We can ship one out with your order if required. Please tick the box if you would like one. The whole unit is made out of aluminium with alloy rivets, plated steel hinges, nuts and bolts so it keeps working in adverse weather. We leave these feeders out in the runs and pheasant flights and they work well to keep the feed dry. Overall size of feeding unit is 390mm (width) x 160mm (height) x 320mm (depth). All our step-on feeders come with very clear and easy-to-follow training instructions. Training is very important and not to be rushed or shortened. Please only start training when your pheasants are adult-sized birds.

It's good practice to worm your hens regularly. Monitoring your chooks droppings is one way to keep track of their general health. If you see signs of worms in their faecal matter we recommend worming your poultry. Active Ingredient: Levamisole Hydrochloride 24% w/v as an aqueous solutionEffective treat for worms for chickens, turkeys, ducks, cage birds and pigeons. Aviverm™ is an anthelmintic which provides simultaneous treatment of immature and adult stages of the three most important intestinal worms: Ascaridia (roundworm; Capillaria (hairworm); Heterakis (cecal worm) Easy to use ONE dose treatment. Birds should immediately resume full growth rate and egg production. A ready-to-pour liquid concentrate that makes a clear solution in their drinking water. Palatable to birds of all ages. Easy follow-up treatment 5 to 7 days later is important, as this will get any eggs that have hatched & break the worms' breeding cycle. Worm-free birds mean higher egg production, faster growth rate, reduced mortality, better feed conversion and all-around good health. Withholding period for eating eggs or birds produced for meat is 7 days after treatment! Directions for Use: Simple to use; add to your chooks drinking water at a rate of 1ml per 9 kg of body weight.
