Brinsea's Maxi 48 EX combines a useful 48-hen egg capacity with a huge specification, yet it's easy to use. It provides the ideal environmental control for maximum hatch rates. With great visibility of the hatching eggs and the convenience of an integral water pump and integral automatic humidity control, it takes the guesswork out of incubation.
The Maxi 48 EX turns eggs automatically and provides full digital control of temperature and humidity, combined with a periodic cooling option. Brinsea's patented alarms warn of incubation and room temperature fluctuations, and this machine also has a power failure indicator. With a high-frequency turn option, this machine is suitable for incubating a wide range of species up to goose size. Protected by Biomaster antimicrobial additives, proven to reduce bacterial growth by up to 99.99% and is 100% safe for eggs, chicks, and humans. Only Brinsea uses Biomaster-treated plastics in egg incubators, which cut the risk of egg contamination and increase hatch rates
The Maxi 48 EX incubator holds 48 hen eggs, thanks to Brinsea's innovative system of egg quadrants. These quadrants simply clip together to allow eggs of one size or different sizes to be incubated together when using species-specific quadrants. Comes supplied with quail, hen, duck and goose quadrants as standard.
