So easy to use and my girls seem brighter. Use DENZ in their coop and dust some on them but that's messy compared to the spot on treatment that I put on them at night. Withholding period is fine with me too.
The chooks took to drinking from these really quickly and have continued to do so. Much easier to keep clean

After months of researching coop options to replace our old wooden setup, we finally decided to invest in an Eglu. While it's definitely on the pricier side, we’re really happy with the decision. It was important for us to have something easy to clean and mobile. We liked the look of the larger omlet coops, but were hesitant to spend the big bucks as first time chicken owners. In hindsight, might have been better to bite the bullet as we will likely get a larger one anyway!
This fits our three orpingtons well. Took about 5 hours to setup, we got the 3m run. It came with a cover which was a nice surprise.
Not the biggest fan of the nesting area as the chooks tend to sleep in there and tehere is no divider. They aren't laying yet but I see poopy eggs in the future.
Also is tricky to get into the run space to grab the girls when needed. I've seen that both these issues have been sorted in the larger models with extra access doors and seperate nesting areas.

My chooks are happy they have more room to roam now, and I can shift it to new grass easily when they have scratched this up. I don't like to leave them in it when I go out, as it's not predator proof, but I am home most of the time so it works well for us. The plastic black mesh is light to work with and the poles are easy to assemble.
