Freight & Delivery Timeframes

All our timber housing is made to order. Delivery time will be on top of production time. We recommend a depot collection. For depot deliveries please use the physical address of your nearest Mainfreight Depot. For home deliveries please ensure your address is entered correctly. We will check and confirm all freight quotes and amend if required. Please note if you are requesting a door delivery there must be truck access, someone needs to be available on site to assist with a hand-unload otherwise opt for a depot delivery. Please read our shipping tab and T&Cs prior to confirming your order.

    Upgrade Bunny Access?

    Where and Type of Access
    Your bunny house will include one standard shut able pop-hole for rabbit access. We can place the bunny 'pop-hole' wherever you would like it. In the front netting panel is the preferred option. Please let us know on ordering. If you prefer not to have our standard shut able pop-hole for bunny access then opt for adding a Zippi Door Frame Access Point. Zippi tunnels are brilliant fun for rabbits offering safe links to outside runs and playpens. 

    Shutters allow for control of ventilation and warmth.

    Upgrade Mesh & Shutters?

    External Shutters
    Your rabbit house will include two mesh windows as above on the front panel plus two removable timber shutters. These can be opened or closed according to the weather allowing for greater control of ventilation and warmth. Shutters can easily be removed.
    We also offer customisations to the front panel - perspex windows.

    Upgrade Roof Colour?

    Upgrade Roof Colour to Colorsteel Endura
    The roof, flashings, and ridge capping are constructed from galvanized corrugated iron. For those seeking a specific roof colour, please choose from the Colorsteel Endura Range. (please google latest range online)  Upgrading to a Colorsteel Endura roof enhances aesthetics, reduces glare associated with galvanized iron, and complements your home and outbuildings effectively.

    Add a Rolled Gutter?

    Additional Rolled Gutter
    A rolled gutter is standard on the front of your rabbit house. We can add another rolled gutter in galvanized iron if needed, or if you want a roof colour, choose the Colorsteel Endura option. Rolled gutters look good and remove the sharp corro-iron edge, which could be at head height for some. If you can walk around your rabbit house, it's best to choose two rolled gutters. A rolled gutter also guides water to the gutter ends, preventing a dripline.

    Customise | Add roofing paper and hex mesh

    OPTIONAL Upgrade for a More Cosy Feel
    Consider upgrading to include roofing paper and hexagonal wire mesh under the roofing iron.
    Roofing paper is a layer of special paper installed beneath the corrugated iron to provide a backup waterproof membrane. It absorbs condensation that forms on the underside of the iron, reduces air movement in the roof spaces and provides protection against the entry of dust and dirt.

    Taller than standard this rabbit house has good head room. Roofing paper has been added to prevent condensation drips.

    Multi Customisations for Luxury Rabbit Accommodation for Amber's Bunnies
    This custom built Apex Rabbit House (above) is taller (more headroom inside),and has a large perspex window
    (covered with protective film for shipping) at the front with vented mesh above for good ventilation in warm weather.
    The roof has an Ebony Colorsteel Endura upgrade. Two Zippi frame connection points have been added on either side below the large perspex window
    so the furry inhabitants can come and go outside via their Zippi tunnels.

    The brilliant Zippi Rabbit Tunnel System from Omlet is a great way to connect your Apex Rabbit House to a rabbit run. The modular burrow pipes allow you to add sections at any time to create a natural warren of tunnels for your rabbit to run around. Your bunny will love hopping along the activity tunnels to a rabbit run where they can nibble on fresh grass everyday. You can also easily connect an open playpen so your children can play with, watch and feed their pet bunnies.
