I looked for ages to find a good replacement for my badly aging 5-year old wooden hutch & metal run, which was either chewed to splinters or rusting in the rain. This was the best option I could find, with the plastic hutch & coated metal run, & I’m so happy with it. It’s a very clever design & easy to assemble. I definitely recommend adding the wheels & handles if you’re going to be moving it around - they make it SO much quicker, safer & easier, & are an equally ingenious design. I’m so impressed with this product & really think it will be worth the financial investment. Thank you Appletons.

Great hutch, and very simple to put together…..if you read all the instruction books for the extensions etc before starting. If you don’t you’ll be like me and take the last few steps apart several times during the build 😅

So awesome to get a space you know the piggies will be warm and dry, safe from other animals and with lots of space to be outside too. Took a bit to put up but you tube video helped. Only constructive feedback would be it would be good to have a parental lock on the hutch turn handle dirt so toddlers/preschoolers weren’t able to open unsupervised. Mine is watching very carefully and trying to do it himself.

I am very happy with the hutch, It feels safe for my guinea pigs when they get their outdoor time. I got the 2m run which I felt was best for 3 guinea pigs and the size has turned out well

Thrilled with the Eglu Go Hutch and 2m run I bought for my guinea pigs, and well worth the money! How much have I spent on poorly designed wooden outdoor hutches over the years that have rotted or just fallen apart? WAY more than the cost of this magnificent set up and my piggies are happy, safe and comfortable! Also bought a heavy duty cover which is great quality and sure to last for years! Top job Appletons! :)

As a result, your pet will be happy, relaxed and easier to handle.
Easy To Clean Plastic Hutch
Keeping the Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch in order is easy thanks to its clever design. Wipe-clean surfaces and slide-out bedding tray make it easy to clean, and, made from energy-efficient polymers, it never needs to be treated. It is a hygienic home for your pets, naturally weather resistant, and at the end of its life it can be recycled.
Dog Proof Run
The Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch comes complete with a 2m run, suitable for two to three guinea pigs. Made from strong, steel weld mesh, it is virtually impossible for predators to break. Depending on the size of your pet, the underfloor wire may not contain them if positioned on uneven ground. You should always try to place the run on the flattest ground possible. If the run does not sit completely flat you can peg it down for extra security.
The run comes in sections for easy transportation and storage, and it can be put together in minutes. Once assembled, you'll find that it really looks the part, with a dark green coating that blends into the garden beautifully. The run has spacious vertical sides, increasing in width to 125cm and reaching a height of 71cm at the end, giving your pets plenty of room to stand upright, and the run door can be opened to stroke, feed, or lift your pets out regularly.

Please note that we are currently sending out two types of underfloor mesh, so depending on the size of the run you choose there is a possibility you might receive two different types of mesh. Innovative Feeders
The Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch comes complete with a hay rack, feed bowl and water bottle suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs. The hay rack is mounted on the inside of the removable back panel, making it quick and easy to fill or remove. This is very handy as rabbits and guinea pigs are herbivores, and they will munch through a lot of hay (in fact, it should form the main part of their diet). Water is very important to pets too, and the water bottle fits into the hay rack inside the house.

The Eglu has a single large door at the back which can be opened to reveal the bedding tray and access the hay rack and water bottle.
Easy Clean
The removable bedding tray can be slid out quickly to clean out, re-fill or top up the stainless steel treat bowl.
Easy-to-use Front Door
The easy-to-use front door gives the option to shut pets in the house at night or keep them in the run for when you want to clean the house.
Warm in Winter
The Eglu is specially designed to keep your pets warm in the winter. Its unique twin-walled insulation system works in a similar way to double glazing, trapping a pocket of air between layers to keep the house well insulated.
Cool in Summer
In the unlikely event that we have a sweltering summer, you can be safe in the knowledge that your pets will be kept cool in the Eglu. Its draught-free ventilation system allows fresh air to circulate whilst preventing air from blowing directly over the bedding area.
The Perfect Hutch for Every Garden
The Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch has a run large enough to give your pets the exercise they need to develop strong bones and stay fit and healthy, and they will love being able to go in and out of their house as they please. Unlike other runs, this comes with an in-built anti-tunnel base, so your pets won't escape, and your garden will remain intact. Although grass is great for guinea pigs, it is possible to keep them if you don't have a lawn. You can keep the Eglu on a patio area, but you should provide them with a deep sand box to dig in.

Moving your Eglu is now even easier with these specially designed Eglu Run Handles. The handles fit neatly onto the run of your chicken coop or hutch to allow you to maneuver your pet's home precisely and with both hands. You can connect the run of your Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch 2m Run to the new Zippi Tunnel System to give your pets the opportunity to explore a whole new world! The Zippi Tunnel connects easily and securely to the wire mesh of the Eglu Go 2m Run and can be used to link your hutch to a larger separate run or playpen. Alternatively you could just build a fun network of tunnels for your guinea pigs to run down and explore! The extreme temperature blanket for the Eglu Go Hutch simply slips onto the main body of the house for a snug fit. It is quick and easy to fit and it will keep your rabbits toasty throughout the Winter!
