Directions: For external use only. Dosage and administration: Birds less than 30g body weight apply 1 drop. Bird between 30-60g body weight apply 2 drops. Repeat application weekly for three doses. Place drops on an un-feathered area of skin, on the thigh or under the wing – DO NOT apply directly to the affected area as this may cause irritation. Best applied using a syringe or dropper. The Coop Light is a wonderfully practical addition to your chicken coop as it helps to encourage chickens to go back into their coop or run when it gets dark. Powered by the control panel of the Automatic Chicken Coop Door, the coop light will automatically come on 5 minutes before the door closes and turns off once the door is fully closed.
For your convenience, the Coop Light can be manually switched on at any time with the press of a button on the Auto Door control panel. Essential incubation tool.
This handy little device will come in very handy to double-check your humidity is where it should be! Precision Hygrometers, bi-metal type available in 45mm and 70mm - made by TFA Germany. These hygrometers have a bimetallic mechanism and it's possible to calibrate it completely. You can use it as a rough indication of relative humidity in incubators and Intensive care brooders. The relative humidity is indicated as a percentage from 0-100.
The humidity in an incubator required depends on the kind of eggs and the extent to which the shell is porous. An egg should lose approx 11% to 13% of its weight during incubation. By calculating how much weight the egg should lose throughout incubation, you can determine whether you should adjust the humidity in the incubator.
You can use this hygrometer as an indicator and then by weighing the eggs regularly. This combination is the best method to determine the humidity very accurately. These are one of the best quality hygrometers available, made by TFA in Germany.
The smaller gold one is the 45mm and the blue one is the 70mm hygrometer.
When it comes to incubation there are 4 key things to remember: Temperature, Humidity, Turning and Ventilation. Make sure you get all 4 right!

The EcoGlow Safety 1200 is ideal for keeping newly hatched poultry, game and waterfowl warm for the crucial first days and weeks following. The low voltage heater panel warms the chicks directly by contact. The light power of this candler is huge! The light source is a high powered LED, which, in combination with a special magnifying lens, produces a huge amount of light output. The use of a LED is a very durable way of candling with incredibly long life and low heat output, therefore not damaging to developing embryos. This candler comes with two rubber caps. One is used in combination with small eggs such as quail and the other one for use in combination with larger eggs. The caps are easily interchangeable. The rubber of the caps is flexible and therefore it ensures no light leakage during candling as it adapts to the shape of the egg. This way the candling image is much clearer. The "Powerlux" candler works with the supplied adapter complete with NZ Plug. This adapter is provided with a 2.5 m cord. An easy answer for keeping the top clean!
Heating plates can get very dirty from chicks jumping on top of them. With this new cover for heating plates, this problem is solved for good. The shape of the cover ensures that the chicks when they try to jump on top of the heating plate, slip back down again. The cover is simple to be placed and removed. Made of transparent plastic (PET) and very solid. After each use, you can clean the cover by rinsing it with warm water to remove the dirt and dust. The cover is suitable for the new Comfort heating plate models (model from 2013 onwards). Heating plates not included.

Too many mice running around?
This double-entry mouse trap is low-line so can sit under furniture or out of sight. There is an entry each side. As the mouse walks in the entry the floor drops down and lets it through. The floor then rises up again preventing escape. The trap is all galvanised but the top is clear plastic. This serves to encourage other mice in once one is trapped. (Mice like to socialise in small places.) It also allows a view of bait, and allows you to see when it needs emptying. Lid opens for baiting and removal of mice.
