      Happy Husband, Happy Goat

This took my husband about 30 minutes to put together from flat pack. It seems very solid and Guinevere (our goat) thinks it's nice and warm when the weather is bad. No complaints

Nice-looking, Sturdy, and Easy to Build

We bought this for our new goat so he would have shelter from the elements and it was delivered quickly with very clear instructions for putting together. It didn't take much time at all to build and it looks great in our paddock (we painted it to match the house) and seems very sturdy so far. Now we just need to get our goat to figure out that this is the place to go when it rains. :)

Things To Consider | Layout, roof colour, rolled rear gutter

Give careful consideration where you are going to position your hen house.

      Layout?

      Best Position and Access
Carefully consider the placement of your stock shelter. Position solid walls to protect against prevailing wind and rain. It is advised to orient the open front towards the sun, as sunlight is beneficial.

       Door Modification?

      Keep them safe inside
Keeping young stock in or mis-mothered lambs with ewes with our door modification. Set the boards to whatever height is required to do the job. Keeps the stock you require warm, secure and safe in poor weather. Easy to stack with finger holes. Boards can be hung behind the shelter when not in use.

      Upgrade to a Roof Colour?

Upgrade Roof Colour to Colorsteel Endura
The roof and flashings are constructed from galvanized corrugated iron. For those seeking a specific roof colour, please choose from the Colorsteel Endura Range. (please google latest range online)

      Add a Rolled Gutter?

      Additional Rolled Gutter
We can add another rolled gutter in galvanized iron if needed, or if you want a roof colour, choose the Colorsteel Endura option. Rolled gutters look good and remove the sharp corro-iron edge, which could be at head height for some. A rolled gutter also guides water to the gutter ends, preventing a dripline.

Goats enjoy having a shelter 🐐 They benefit from having a shelter which offers good protection from the elements.

Please note the difference between the Goat Shelter and the Pig Shelter is the rear door.
The Pig Shelter has a door at the rear the Goat Shelter does not.
