Can Catio Walkway Tunnels Open Up an Indoor Cat's World?
Published 17th January 2025
The Omlet Catio Tunnel is a secure walkway system that connects your cat's outdoor enclosure to your home indoors. It creates safe route from A to B and back again, and with all that independence, there's no virtually need for you to be at your cat's beck and call to carry it between the two!
Catios and Outdoor Cat Trees are designed for your indoor cats to enjoy all the excitement of the outdoors, without risk from traffic, and other cats or dogs. An added benefit is extended to our local birdlife that might otherwise fall prey to the apex predator instincts of a free ranging cat! Adding a tunnel system means your cat can come and go whenever it suits.
Opening Up The Outside ☀️
Some cat breeds are better suited to a quieter indoor life and may be too docile to go out unsupervised. However, most cats love to leap and climb, and feel the sun on their face or the breeze in their fur. Having a Catio and walkway tunnel allows your cat to enjoy and explore all the benefits of the outdoors without the worry that comes with it. With greater independence, they can satisfy their curiosity in a safe environment and simply come back in when they’re ready to curl up on the couch with you.
The all new modular, kitset walkway system by Omlet fits most windows and cat flaps.
Modular Means Versatile | Create Your Own
The non-slip modular design means you can make your Catio tunnel system as simple or as complex as you like. Whether you want a straight tunnel from Catio to cat flap, or from a window to Catio, or a modular labyrinth that lets them scale the sides of the house and tread a path through the treetops is entirely down to you.
Changes in ground elevation or slopes? No need to worry about sloping ground or at different levels either, as the height of the tunnel stands that support the walkway can be easily adjusted and the bases can be pivoted to compensate for inclines of up to 10 degrees. No wobbles, no worries! Tunnels can be wall mounted, or run along the ground, or freestanding on stands!
