I love everything about Appletons. They share their knowledge freely and are always helpful with everything, from loading the feed to what's best for my fluffy friends. I would not go any where else, thank you Appletons ! Betty :-)

Our chooks love it. They don't seem to go through it very fast either, good value for money

I have absolutely no criticism of Appleton's, their service, and their sale of 9-week-old Red Shavers with ancillary feed and equipment. My gripe is that I cannot buy hens at point-of-lay. I can see why they sell birds so young - it's most convenient for them - but it's very awkward for me. I need to have a second chook-house and yard and grow the hens on until they are old enough to be introduced to the others. Consequently, I will be looking elsewhere for my replacement hens in future.

This is my 3rd bag of crumble. I thought it was a great product and you actually can use it until point of lay.
However, I have purchased new containers which I was needing to fill the crumble with a small cup.
I have used only a 3rd of the bag and have already found 6 pieces of macro plastic. All are solid in colour. Colour varies. I have contacted Weston Milling and I am waiting to hear back. This is why the rating is low. It has to do with the product... Not Appletons.
