All our timber housing is made to order. Delivery time will be on top of production time. We recommend a depot collection. For depot deliveries please use the physical address of your nearest Mainfreight Depot. For home deliveries please ensure your address is entered correctly. We will check and confirm all freight quotes and amend if required. Please note if you are requesting a door delivery there must be truck access, someone needs to be available on site to assist with a hand-unload otherwise opt for a depot delivery. Please read our shipping tab and T&Cs prior to confirming your order.

Position and Access
Give careful consideration where you are going to position your bird aviary. Think about positioning solid walls into the prevailing wind and rain. We recommend facing the front mesh panel towards the sun. Sun in the house is a good thing. Plus allow enough space for human door access when cleaning.

An enclosed timber and mesh secure entry door run is optional to the Appletons timber aviary

Secure Access?

Add a Double Entry Door
Firt walk in to a secure mesh and timber enclosed run. Close the run door behind you. Next open the plywood house door to enter the aviary. This secure double entry will give you peace of mind your birds are not going to escape.
Person door + optional security door can be placed at either end.

The Walk-in Bird Aviary features square weld mesh installed under the corrugated iron roof as a standard feature. This design ensures the aviary is fully sparrow-proof.

Upgrade Roof & Gutter?

Upgrade roof colour
Choose standard corrogated galvanised iron or upgrade to a Colorstell Endura colour.
Add a Rolled Gutter
We can add a rolled gutter if needed at the rear. A rolled gutter looks good and remove the sharp corro-iron edge at the rear. A rolled gutter also guides water to the gutter ends, preventing a dripline.
