These work really well for showing our chooks where to lay. Unfortunately they also fooled the stoats, which stole them, but now that they’ve been caught I’ve bought some more! :)

Very realistic looking eggs and do work well for encouraging the hens to lay in the their nest.

These eggs are a pleasure to use because they look and feel so real. I was having trouble with my girls as every day was an Easter Egg hunt. They are now using the nesting boxes more regularly.

Really good seemed to have fooled my chooks into laying there eggs in the same place so at least I know where to find them now

These are magic. Our girls were laying on the floor of their house. Popped these eggs in the nesting boxes and within a week they were laying in the boxes. Wish we had ordered these sooner. Highly recommend. That is Appletons Team. :)

You receive 2 rubber eggs. They are very egg-shaped. They are heavier than I expected so I do not foresee any of my chooks punting them around. The bounce is not much to write home about and they roll better than they bounce. Am not yet sure if this colour and density of this type of fake egg will meet the needs required...must try one out first. Still, if I loose it I've always got a 'back-up' ; or, an egg to fall back upon, as we would say in our neck of the woods. Thanks.

Better than hollow plastic eggs as my chickens believe them to be real and steals them for under her.

We had pukeko eating the eggs we would leave in the coop. These rubber eggs are great! My girls are laying back in the coop again and the pukeko seem to have been deterred.
