Thanks for the 11 pullets we bought from you 10 days ago. They are all healthy and they are getting used to the auto-feeder and my chook-o-matic automatic door opener. 8 out of 11 are laying.

Chickens have figured it out :-). Thanks for the props they were very useful and great explanation sheet which made it an easy introduction for us all.

So pleased to finally have a solution to stop feeding not only my hens but all the wild birds as well. The girls are a little hesitant at the moment but I’m sure by following the instructions we’ll get them used to it. Fabulous product with robust construction

I now have three of these feeders replacing units that are not robust. These feeders are functional easy for the hens to use and if destroyed by other animals easy to repair and bring back to original functionality. A great design simple and robust.

you get what you pay for. I bought a cheaper one before and it can not compare to this one. I wish I had bought this one in the first place. Strongly recommend this product.

Best purchase ever and once the girls get use to them they are away laughing. I have 3 now and wouldn’t be without them.
Just a shame the ducks have learnt how to us them as well.

Great product, huge capacity

So far so good. Chickens are getting use to feeder as training instructions are working. No longer feeding all the sparrows and saving on feed. Chickens are eating when they need now not just early mornings and late evenings. Regret not doing this sooner!

This is perfect - it keeps the food protected from rats and little birds that get into the chook house, and the step by step instructions for training your chooks to use it are working well. Good quality item.

Pur chooks are really taking some training with feeder...we guess its because they are older birds!!

I love this for my chickens as I know they will never be hungry. They just help themselves when they need it. It didn't take them long to learn to stand on step to open lid.

Feeder working ok so far. Still early days as the chickens are still getting used to it! Good sturdy construction.

Big thank you to appletons, feeder arrived faster than anticipated (even during lockdown) was expecting to have to put this together but unpacked and it was all ready to go, I was suprised, was larger than I expected--bonus ( I have 2 others 1 smaller that I paid more for & the other is crap with the pellets constantly jamming total rubbish & a waste of my money) My new appletons feeder works easily no jaming of food as it has no stupid corners to go around and is awesome value for money. I dont have to worry about my chickens going hungry thank you for such an easy reliable product & NZ made Well done.

Only been a week but the chooks are already starting to get the hang of it. Seems like it will be an easy transition until it is fully used properly. Great investment as we have rats/mice out in the country and this will definitely help
