Our chooks all-time favourite afternoon treat! 

Whole kernels of lovely golden yellow maize. Remember when treating your chooks only about 5 to 10 grams per bird per day especially if they have access to a complete, balanced feed like Weston Free Range or Peak layer pellets. 

NOTE: Our maize is grown locally, it is spray-free. Maize is harvested annually and stored in silos to sell over the year. You may find the odd weevil as we reach the end of each season. Yes, we must mention this as it is not treated with chemicals and almost impossible to keep every weevil out! More protein for your hens if you get one!
