Omlet No Waste Chicken Feeder

The Omlet No Waste Chicken Feeder uses protected feeding ports and a no-spill design to help reduce scattered feed and waste. It can stand or be hung in your chicken run, with three capacities to suit different flock sizes and feeding routines.

Less feed on the ground means less mess to clear away. The covered ports also give hens a more sheltered feeding position, helping reduce interference from other birds at mealtimes.

• Small: 2.5kg.
• Medium: 5kg.

Choose according to flock size, feed consumption and how often you want to refill. Capacities are nominal feed weights; actual contents and refill intervals vary with the feed and your flock. Check feed availability and access daily.

Protected feeding ports

Suitable feed types

Stand or hang in the run

The wide tripod base helps resist tipping when the feeder is standing. Alternatively, hang it securely at a height suited to your hens using compatible equipment. Ensure the support can safely carry the filled feeder and that birds can reach the feeding ports.

Checking and cleaning

A visible feed level makes it easier to check the remaining supply, and a locking lid secures the top. The feeder comes apart for cleaning and can be hosed or wiped clean. Dry it before adding fresh feed.

Omlet Smart No Waste Chicken Feeder 5kg

The Omlet Smart No Waste Chicken Feeder combines protected feeding ports with automatic opening and closing, helping reduce scattered feed and restrict access at night. Its 5kg reservoir gravity-feeds five ports arranged around the feeder, giving hens access from different sides.

With daylight-controlled operation, your hens can feed during the day and the ports close at night without you needing to carry the feeder indoors. Optional app connectivity adds refill alerts and status checks to your daily chicken-care routine.

Capacity and colour options

• Capacity: 5kg.
• Colours: Sage Green or Eglu Green.
• Feeding ports: five, arranged in a 360-degree layout.

Omlet estimates that a full feeder can feed six hens for seven days. This is a guide, not a guaranteed refill interval: actual capacity and consumption vary with feed type, flock and conditions. Check your birds and their feed supply daily.

Automatic daylight operation, no phone required

A daylight sensor automatically opens and closes the feeding ports. Basic daylight operation does not require a phone or Wi-Fi connection. Closing the ports at night helps restrict access by nocturnal pests, but does not guarantee complete pest exclusion.

Optional Omlet app controls

Connect via Wi-Fi to check feeder status remotely and receive refill alerts. Wi-Fi features include hourly feed-level monitoring, open/closed status and battery status. Multiple feeding schedules can be set using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and app access can be shared with friends or family helping care for your flock.

Remote monitoring and notifications require the appropriate connection. They complement, rather than replace, daily checks that the hens have access to food.

Battery power and safety features

The feeder runs on four AA batteries. Omlet specifies these as not included and quotes up to six months of battery life; actual runtime varies with use and conditions.

A low-battery auto-open failsafe is designed to keep feed accessible when battery power becomes low. The soft-close mechanism includes blockage detection. Follow the setup instructions and check port operation regularly.

Omlet Insulated Stay Clean Chicken Drinker

The Omlet Insulated Stay Clean Chicken Drinker is a poultry waterer designed to help keep water cool in warm weather, slow freezing in cold conditions and protect the stored water from light and contamination. Complete cup and nipple sets are included, so you can choose the drinking system that suits your flock.

Choose your capacity and colour

• 5.5L: Sage or Eglu Green.
• 11L: Sage or Eglu Green.
• 19L: Sage. This option is stand-only and must not be hung.

Choose capacity according to flock size and water consumption. Check water availability daily and refill as needed; consumption changes with weather and your chickens’ needs.

Insulated, not heated

Insulation helps water stay cooler in warm conditions and remain fluid longer in freezing temperatures. Omlet reports testing with nipple fittings showing water flowing for 10 hours at -10°C.

This drinker has no heater. The test result is not a guarantee that water will never freeze. Check that water and drinking outlets remain usable during cold weather.

Cups and nipples included

Use the included cups for gravity-fed pools of drinking water, or the included nipples for a more enclosed drinking system. Omlet recommends nipples for its best freeze-resistant performance. Drinking ports are spaced around the waterer so hens can access it from different sides.

Designed to keep stored water cleaner

The enclosed reservoir blocks light to help discourage algae growth. A domed anti-roost lid discourages hens from perching on top, helping keep droppings away from the water supply. A water-level window lets you check the remaining supply without lifting or tipping the drinker.

These features support cleaner water but do not replace regular inspection and cleaning.

Standing setup and size differences

The wide tripod base helps resist tipping. The 19L model has extendable legs and is stand-only. Locking lids are specified for the 5.5L and 11L models only. Follow the instructions for your selected size.

Materials and cleaning

Omlet specifies BPA- and PFA-free plastic, UV-stable materials and compatibility with apple cider vinegar. Materials include polypropylene, ABS, insulation and stainless-steel fixings.

Hose down or wipe clean as directed. The drinker is not dishwasher-safe. Keep cups or nipples clean and check their operation regularly.
