Turkeys
Talking Turkey (and Toms and Poults)
Backyard turkeys are a great fit for the lifestyle block and homesteaders. Hardy, characterful, and surprisingly good foragers, turkeys bring more than just meat to the table - they add personality to the land and play a role in a well-rounded, regenerative setup. Whether you’re looking to raise your own food, reduce pests, or diversify your flock, turkeys are a low-fuss, high-reward addition to the mix. With the right shelter, space, and seasonal care, they’ll thrive in varied climates and will quickly 'earn their keep' on your patch of earth.
