Love this product to spray on the bare patches my roosters make on a few hens backs when mounting them. Being purple coloured It disguises the bare red area and help it to heal. Bossy hens are interested in colour but don’t seem to pick on them anymore.

Used it once on my quails foot and the poor thing started pecking at it and getting attacked by the other quail. I guess the purple makes their toes look like worms. It doesn't wash off either so I had to separate her for a couple of days until the colour had faded.

Good spray with excellent coverage, colour is excellent so the other chooks don’t go for her neck again

I actually used this for my quail as a few were bullied right as this arrived in the mail (I also have chickens, who I purchased this for). They are doing well, the purple is lasting a very long time which is excellent and will hopefully prevent more bullying. The wounds have not become infected and that's the aim.

I had a chook with a limp, and the other 2 were attacking her, and ripped her comb. so while she was separated resting her leg (its fine now) we kept her close to the others, who still tried to attack her. So I got the spray hoping it would disguise the blood on her comb/head, and unfortunately it made it worse, it is REALLY bright and the others picked on her immediately for a few days, I had to fully separate them again for a few days, they've finally stopped fighting, but I think it's more because the violet has faded and her leg is ok. Wouldn't recommend it for disguising the blood unless you can keep a very close eye
