We have 2 of these heat plates, work very well with a brooder set up. I’d recommend getting the cover as well to stop chicks pooping on it. Fionna and Gordon are fantastic, we have been chicken keeping for 15 years with their helpful knowledge and service.

Appletons was so fast with info and postage which was great. I'd recommend getting the cover plate so it's easier to wash off (you know what).
