Crown Suspension Feeder 3kg

Description

Perfect for feeding chickens of all ages.

This size feeder is ideal if you have 3 to 4 hens or raising young birds on to point of lay.

  • 3kg quality plastic feeder.
  • Made from high-quality UV stabilised plastic for longer life.
  • The suspension point incorporates a wing nut adjuster for feed flow.
  • The trough also has segregations (anti-scratch fins) to reduce losses from birds flicking feed out sideways.
  • Heavy galvanising on all metal parts.
  • Best hung inside the hen house.

This size feeder is perfect for chicks from 3+ weeks if you have the space in the brooder,
Also perfect for feeding adult bantams where the run or coop is fully enclosed (invest in a Bantam Step On feeder if your bantams free-range) or for a mother hen with chicks. A mother hen is very good at scratching the feed to show the chicks what to do so the non-scratch fins prevent too much spillage of the crumble.
