Keeping Budgies 101 | Everything You Need To Know

Budgies (parakeets) are popular pets due to their playful personalities, ease of care and relatively low cost. They are social birds, enjoy interacting with humans, and some can even be trained to mimic speech. They are generally healthy and require relatively little space, making them a good choice for various living situations. Budgies are undemanding and yet very intelligent. It's a rare combination - you often have to trade one asset for the other when choosing a pet! Bursting with life, and with a constant musical chatter (and the occasional squawk), they will soon take centre stage in your home; and with a bit of care and patience you'll have them feeding from your hand and using you as a favourite perch on their indoor adventures outside the cage.
